Social Inclusion
For over 30 years, Dalit Vikas Abhiyan Samiti (DVAS) has championed
social inclusion, believing that every individual —
regardless of caste, class, gender, or identity — deserves equal rights and opportunities.
DVAS empowers the urban poor, homeless families, migrant workers, unorganized laborers, sex workers,
LGBTQIA+ communities, destitute individuals, and nomadic groups through education, employment,
skill-building, leadership, and social protection.
Alongside community strengthening and policy advocacy, the organization strives to ensure dignity,
independence, and equal opportunities for all marginalized communities.
What We Do
DVAS focuses on empowering underprivileged communities through initiatives in education, livelihood, and rights advocacy. Our work involves building leadership among women and youth, creating pathways for employment and entrepreneurship, promoting gender equity, and fostering a more inclusive society.
