State level youth dialogue on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti
On the occasion of Abedkar Jayanti, a state level youth dialogue organized by various social organizations was organized at Patna Women's College.
Alliance Dalit Forum Bihar organized state level symposium:
A state level symposium program regarding the condition and strategy of Dalit community in Bihar was organized on 17th July 2024 in the premises of the auditorium hall of Navjyoti Niketan Patna. Under the project run by Dalit Vikas Abhiyan Samiti in collaboration with ccfd, the forum is working in 20 districts of Bihar, while by establishing Bihar Ambedkar Youth Forum in 8 districts, work is being done to empower Dalit youth in the direction of educational, mental development by changing their behavior and career development. In this symposium, 40 people including CSOs of 20 districts, district coordinators and coordinators of Alliance Dalit Forum and Bihar Ambedkar Youth Forum, Dalit activists, advocates and social researchers registered their presence. In the symposium, it was decided to work on the main strategy related to change in mental and social behaviour of Dalit community in Bihar and connecting them to the mainstream by establishing career study centers for youth along with sustainable livelihood, gender equality, dignified career development for youth, capacity building, skill development.
